09/20/2012

(KAIR) -- Kansas Representative Jerry Henry will have a challenger after all in the race for Kansas House District 63.

Nine days after Idaho resident John Gotts withdrew from the race, House District 63 precinct members held a convention Wednesday night to nominate Stephen Bodenhausen as Republican nominee.

Bodenhausen was nominated, between attendees and notarized proxy votes, which act like absentee ballots, 35 to zero.

The model, actor and substitute teacher from Atchison describes his motivations to run.
