$100,000 Given To Marysville Hospital
10/09/2012

(KNZA)--Community Memorial Healthcare, in Marysville, is celebrating a recent substantial gift given to the CMH Foundation.

The estate of Wallace and Caryl Toedter, in late August, provided the CMH Foundation, recently created to serve as the fundraising arm of Community Memorial Healthcare, with a check for 100-thousand-dollars.

Provided by Charles Wetzler and Richard Wetzler, Trustees of the Wallace W. Toedter Trust, the gift is designated as the Wallace and Caryl Toedter Memorial Fund.

CMH Foundation Coordinator Pam Harrison calls the contribution “a remarkable gift”(Play Audio)

Harrison says no decision is yet made for how the financial gift will be used(Play Audio)

Harrison says the 100-thousand-dollars will allow the needs of the hospital to be addressed.

Although the hospital facility is new, not everything in it is; and, despite many upgrades made, older equipment was brought for use in the new building. The gift will allow, if that's the decision reached, for technology upgrades to be made, keeping CMH up to date with modern medical practices.
