Goff Man Arrested on Multiple Charges

( KMZA )- A Goff man arrested on warrants for multiple charges is now also facing drug charges.

22-year-old  Brent A. Haverkamp was arrested Tuesday by the Seneca Police Department after receiving information that he had active arrest warrants through Nemaha County.  

Police Chief Brent Schulte says Officer Josh Winkler observed Haverkamp, in the 300 block of Lorain, getting into the passenger seat of a car.  

Officer Winkler stopped the car and arrested Haverkamp on warrants for burglary, theft and unlawful use of a financial card.  

Police found Haverkamp to be carrying suspected drugs, including methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.   They also recovered a gas card that had been reported stolen.

Haverkamp is being held in the Nemaha County jail on a $5,000 bond on the warrants as well as the drug charges.
