(KNZA)--A semi-truck rolls over early Thursday afternoon, 3 miles north of Holton, sending the driver to the hospital while keeping traffic on U.S. Highway 75, reduced to one lane for several hours.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says the truck driver, from Chicago, was southbound, when traffic in front of him began to slow down. In order to avoid hitting the vehicle in front of him, the truck driver steered the big rig towards the west ditch, which caused the semi to tip over on its right side.
The 23-years-old driver was transported to Holton Community Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The wreck happened shortly before 1:00.
