(KNZA)--A Horton man will serve probation, following his sentencing in Brown County District Court for crimes related to unlawful sexual relations with an underage girl.
19-year-old Brandon Negonsott was charged with two felony counts for the crime, and was sentenced to serve 8 months behind bars on each count, with the terms to run consecutively.
However, the prison terms were suspended, and the Judge instead sentenced Negonsott to 18-months of probation.
Due to his age, and the age of the victim, born in 1996; and because the charge was unlawful voluntary sexual relations, Negonsott will not be required to register as a sex offender.
