(KNZA)--A Jefferson County resident escapes serious injury after she crashes her motorcycle in Shawnee County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says it happened shortly after 3:00 Wednesday afternoon when 48-year-old Catherine Griffin, of Meriden, was Eastbound on K4.
Traffic began to yield to an oncoming law enforcement vehicle, traveling with lights and siren activated, but Griffin failed to stop.
That caused her to lay the motorcycle over, which then rolled.
Griffin, wearing a helmet, was transported to Saint Francis Hospital in Topeka for the treatment of possible injuries.
