(KNZA)--Ongoing thefts in rural areas of Brown County Kansas and Richardson County Nebraska will be the focus of a public safety meeting planned for Thursday evening.

Merchant says anyone who has experienced thefts, or those who are concerned about the problem, are encouraged to attend(Play Audio)
Merchant says based on the latest figures, crimes such as those occurring locally, are on the rise across the nation(Play Audio)
Thursday’s public safety meeting, beginning at 6:00, will be held at the Sac and Fox Community Building, at 401 North Arch Street in Reserve.
