( KMZA )--A single-vehicle roll-over accident on K-63 Highway about three miles south of Seneca Saturday afternoon sent a Seneca teenager to the hospital.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 16-year-old Eric Enneking of Seneca was traveling south when his Chevy Avalanche left the highway. Enneking overcorrected, which caused his vehicle to leave the roadway again. The vehicle traveled down an embankment, rolled, and came to rest on its top in a field.
A passenger in the vehicle, 14-year-old Dylan Enneking III, was taken to the Nemaha Valley Community Hospital in Seneca for treatment of possible injuries. The Patrol says he was not wearing a seatbelt.
Eric Enneking, who was wearing a seatbelt, wasn’t hurt.
The accident was reported around 2:40 Saturday afternoon.
