( KNZA )-No serious injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident Thursday afternoon at the intersection of 2nd and Kickapoo Streets in Hiawatha.
Police Chief John Defore says 46-year-old Mark Hall of Hiawatha was traveling east on Kickapoo when he failed to yield to a northbound vehicle on 2nd Street driven by 34-year-old Jill Thompson of Hiawatha and the vehicles collided.
Thompson was transported to the Hiawatha Community Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Hall refused medical treatment at the scene.
The accident was reported shortly before 2 o’clock Thursday afternoon.
