( KNZA )-A second person has died from injuries received in a single-vehicle rollover accident last Friday in Atchison County.
18-year-old Shyann Marie Cannon of Goff died Wednesday at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City.
Mike Flewelling, formerly of Goff, died a day after the accident at the K-U Medical Center on what would have been his 20th birthday.
Both were passengers in a vehicle driven by Flewelling’s mother, 43-year-old Ute Cashman of Riverside, Missouri, which crashed on U.S. 73 near Lancaster late last Friday morning.
Cashman, who was wearing a seatbelt, was treated for possible injuries at the Atchison Hospital and released.
Cannon and Flewelling, who were not wearing seatbelts, were flown from the scene to the Kansas City hospital..
No funeral services are planned for Cannon. There will be a private inurnment at a later date.
Services for Flewelling will be Saturday morning at 10:30 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton.
