(KLZA) Five Peru State College (PSC) criminal justice students and two faculty members recently competed against 140 of their peers at the American Criminal Justice Association- Lambda Alpha Epsilon (ACJA-LAE) Region 3 Conference Competition at Central Missouri State University. Three earned honors.
In the Physical Agility category, PSC Criminal Justice Instructors Daniel Hayes and Ronicka Schottel won second and third place, respectively, in the men’s and women’s divisions. Andrew Horn, a senior criminal justice counseling major from Verdon, won third place in the men’s division. Hayes also placed fourth in the Professional Division Corrections Academic Test.

Tairi Ferguson, a junior criminal justice administration and psychology major from Hamburg, Iowa.
Allyson Bennett, a senior criminal justice administration major from Nebraska City
Danae Disney, a senior criminal justice counseling and psychology major from Blue Springs
Jacob Hedden, a junior criminal justice administration major from Johnson
All are members of Kappa Omicron Rho, the Peru State chapter of ACJA-LAE, a criminal justice honors fraternity with more than 2,000 members nationwide.
