Monday is the deadline to RSVP for those wanting to learn, firsthand, the ins and outs of KPERS and Social Security.
That will happen Thursday in the Leavenworth County community of Tonganoxie during a free informational dinner.
Sponsored by the Tonganoxie Chamber of Commerce, board member Alan Kerkaert says the forum is intended to provide an easy to understand presentation on both the Kansas Public Employees Retirement System and Social Security.
The informational dinner, to be held from 6 until 8:00 Thursday evening, will take place at the Tonganoxie Middle School.
The catered meal will be served at 6:30.
