( KNZA )--Three candidates are now seeking a position on the Royal Valley Board of Education.
Jeff Stithem filed Friday for position 5 on the board.
Stithem joins incumbent Charles Connell and former Jackson County Commissioner Larry Fenske in seeking the position.
Two other candidates filed late last week for re-election to the Holton Board of Education---Allen Arnold for position 4 and Bob Phillips for position 6.
In addiition, Kelly Kennedy is seeking re-election to position 4 on the Jackson Heights board of education.
Candidates have until noon Tuesday to file.
