Nemaha County Wellness Center to get Upgrades
03/04/2013

(KTNC) -  Nemaha County Nebraska Commissioners approved a request to make repairs and updates at the Nemaha County Wellness Center over a three-year period.

Wellness Center Manager Leah Wehenkel and trainer Dennis Brady requested the repairs during last week’s board meeting.  The list of repairs requested includes installing ceiling fans, electrical work, replacing the water fountain, moving the water meter, and replacing the windows in the weight room.

The board agreed to purchase four ceiling fans with remote controls, various electrical upgrades, and replace the water fountain and four windows in the weight room.

The total cost of the upgrades amounts to approximately four thousand dollars.

In other business last week, Commissioners voted to amend the budget, transferring a little more than two thousand dollars from the General Fund to the Sick Leave/Reserve Fund.
