( KNZA )---The Hiawatha Foundation for Economic Development is searching for a new director.
Don Nigus has resigned as director effective March 15th, citing personal reasons.
HFED Board President Gene Hillyer informed Brown County Commissioners Monday about Nigus’ resignation. Hillyer and Nigus met with commissioner’s to present the economic development organization’s 4th quarter report.
Hillyer said Nigus has done a great job for HFED.
HFED is currently taking applications to fill the part-time position.
Hillyer said Nigus has agreed to help out until a new director is hired.
