(KNZA)--Now that springtime weather has arrived, the chores of the season beging, with homeowners working to see the green grass, and lovely landscapes, that accompany the season.
In the City of Holton, such efforts will be rewarded, with the continuance of an annual competition.

Bauer says there's no cash, or other monetary prize up for grabs. Instead, he says the home which earns the Lawn of the Year distinction wins(Play Audio)
Bauer says that recognition will come, in part, through a special display the winner will earn(Play Audio)
The winner of the Holton Yard of the Year Contest will be determined sometime in June.
