(KLZA) The Auburn City Council Monday night approve removing restrictions on Board of Public Works funds that were created as a safety measure when the new water treatment plant was built.
Council members also approved changing the day and the time of the monthly BPW meetings. Mayor Scott Kudrna comments. ( play audio :38 seconds )
In other business the Auburn Council approved the appointment of Leslie Clark to the Library Board and Chris Maher to the Auburn Volunteer Fire Department.
20 people have been hired to work at the Auburn swimming pool this summer. Ben Adams will serve as the pool manager.
Mayor Kudrna is also asking for Auburn residents to help out and have fun during Earth Day activities in Auburn on Saturday, April 20th. ( play audio : 40 seconds )
