(KMZA)--The Superintendent for the Marysville Public Schools has accepted a new job.
According to the Marysville Advocate, Khris Thexton has accepted a position with Great Bend's USD 428.
Thexton has served as Marysville Superintendent since 2009, but taught in the district from 1999 through 2004.
In Great Bend, he will work as the director of finance, operations and federal programs, beginning July 1st.
His resignation has not yet become the official business of the Marysville USD 364 Board of Education, with the Great Bend schools only Thursday voting to offer the job to Sexton, who accepted the position.
