( KMZA )-A two-vehicle accident on U.S. 36 Highway in Washington County Monday evening claimed two lives.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says killed in the accident were 18-year-old Washington resident Keenan Jellison-Knock., and 60-year-old Ruthann Minge, of Hanover.
The Patrol says Jellison-Knock was traveling west when his car crossed the center line and struck an eastbound sports utility vehicle driven by Minge shortly after 5 o’clock.
Both drivers were pronounced dead at area hospitals.
