(KAIR)--The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children has issued an alert regarding a missing Atchison teenager.
She is identified as 16-year-old Julissa Martinez, a hispanic female who stand 5 foot 2, weighs 100 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. Her ears are pierced and she has a scar under her right eye.
She has been missing since April 12th.
The alert states that Julissa could be in the company of an adult man, and may travel to Independence, Missouri.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Julissa should contact the Atchison Police Department or the Center for Missing and Exploited Children at 800-843-5678.
