(KNZA)--A 46-year-old rural Holton man is jailed, following a weekend search of his home stemming from an investigation involving the distribution of child pornography.
According to Jackson County Sheriff Tim Morse, his deputies, working with the Department of Homeland Security, executed a search warrant in rural northern Jackson County, where James Michael Baxter was taken into custody on the charge of sexual exploitation of a child.
Seized from the 11537 262nd Road residence were computers and other property.
The search warrant was served Saturday afternoon.
Baxter was booked into the Jackson County Jail where bond is pending.
