(KAIR) -- A Saint Joseph woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident in northern Jefferson County Sunday evening.
According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, just before six, a Chevrolet Cavalier driven by Ryan Barnes of Oskaloosa was eastbound on K-10 highway when he failed to stop at the stop sign, entered US 59 highway and struck a northbound Dodge pickup driven by Larry Robertson of Saint Joseph.
That caused the pickup to spin around and come to rest in the west ditch.
Larry Robertson wasn’t injured, but his wife, Kathleen, was transported by ambulance to Lawrence Memorial Hospital with internal injuries.
All occupants in the Barnes vehicle, including his wife, a two month old baby and two other children, weren’t injured.
