(KAIR) -- The fate of three Valley Falls City Officials is up in the air, pending this evening's regular monthly meeting of the City Council.
The positions of City Administrator, Police Chief and City Clerk are up for re-appointment, but rumors regarding the possibility of the non-renewal of their contracts have been circulating in recent days.
That follows controversy involving a recent weekend meeting of the Valley Falls Police Auxiliary Committee, with the details of what was discussed, or decided, not made public.
Valley Falls Mayor Charles Stutesman says nothing can be publicly stated, prior to the meeting, due to personel matters related to non-elected personell.
City Administrator Chris Channell was contacted Tuesday, but declined comment on the matter.
The meeting of the Valley Falls City Council will be this evening at 6:30 at Valley Falls City Hall.
