(KNZA)--A 24-year-old Horton man accused of illegal sexual relations with a child born in 2002 will stand trial.
Wyatt Brown waived his preliminary hearing Wednesday and was bound over to Brown County District court on a single count of aggravated criminal sodomy.
Arraignment is set for May 13th.
Brown was arrested in March following a joint investigation by the Horton Police Department, Brown County Sheriff’s Department and Kansas Highway Patrol.
Brown is a registered sex offender, convicted in 2006 in Brown County on a charge of aggravated indecent liberties with an 11-year-old girl.
He remains in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $750,000.
