(KNZA)--A new term of leadership officially begins for Horton businessowner Ken Krug, who, in April, won re-election to the Horton City Commission.
Krug defeated Heath Hopkins who challenged him for the role of Finance Commissioner.
Krug, at the start of Monday night's City Commission Meeting, was sworn in for another term by City Clerk Kim Clausen.
In other business, Commissioners approved an agreement to take over dispatch responsibilities for the Kickapoo Tribal Emergency Services; allocated a payment of over $130,000 to Sapulpa Digging, the firm working to replace the city's sewer lines; and heard an update on the possible sale of property to the Horton location of Sweet Pro.
