(KTNC) - A woman from the Humboldt area was arrested in connection with the theft of a vehicle from a Falls City car dealership last week, but the vehicle is still missing.
Falls City Police are looking for a red Jeep Wrangler with no license plates. They say Erica Beethe took one vehicle for a test drive Thursday afternoon, and brought it back. Then at about 3:30 p.m., they say she took the Jeep and did not return.
Beethe has been arrested in connection with the theft and is being held in the Richardson County Jail. She was also wanted on a warrant for failure to appear in court.
While Beethe was arrested, authorities say the vehicle has not been located. The investigation is continuing and more arrests are possible in connection with the theft.
