( KNZA )--An August 13th jury trial has been set for a Horton man charged in a child abuse case.
27-year-old Matthew Adams recently pleaded not guilty in Brown County District Court to charges of aggravated battery and felony child abuse.
Adams is accused of shaking a child born last year, causing great bodily harm to the child.
He was arrested in January following a joint investigation by the Horton Police Department and Brown County Sheriff’s Department.
Adams remains in the Brown County Jail on 150-thousand dollars bond.
