Humboldt Park Restrooms Closed Due to Vandalism
06/03/2013

(KTNC) -  The restrooms on the east side of the Humboldt City Park are closed until further notice after they were vandalized twice in the last week.
The first incident happened over the Memorial Day weekend, when someone brought fish into the restrooms, mutilated the carcasses, and threw the remains around the restrooms.
The facilities were vandalized again late last week.  City officials say sometime late Thursday night or early Friday morning, someone broke seven large plastic toilet paper dispensers and one stainless steel dispenser.
Total damage is estimated at over $400.
The City of Humboldt is offering a $50 reward for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for the vandalism.  Anyone with information on the incidents is asked to contact the Richardson County Sheriff’s Department.
