( KNZA )---Brown County Developmental Services will hold an open house Sunday afternoon at their new apartment complex at the corner of Delaware and 6th Streets in Hiawatha.
14 clients moved into the facility a week after Christmas. They had lived in apartments the agency rented on North 4th Street.
The former Safeway store at the location was converted into eight apartments and an addition constructed to the west that houses six apartments.
Also BCDS will hold an open house Sunday at their apartments located at 116 Apache Street where seven clients live.
Both open houses will run Sunday afternoon from 1 to 4. The public is invited to tour both facilities.
BCDS is a community based agency providing residential and vocational services to adults with intellectual disabilities.
