(KLZA) The Falls City, City Council will meet at 7 p-m Monday evening at City Hall.
Agenda items include a discussion with Jim Hoy concerning property taxes. Council members will be asked to approve the purchase of a server for the City offices and take action on a recommendation from the Housing Advisory Board to approve proposed changes to the Housing Program income re-use plan for the 2013 home owner applications.
EDGE Executive Director Beckie Cromer will meet with the Council to request infrastructure improvements for the Wilderness Falls sub-division as recommended by the Board of Public Works.
Discussion on a request to accept a bid from MidCon Underground Construction in the amount of $81,550 as recommended by the Board of Public Works will also be held.
The Council will also be asked to approve a request to lease a skid steer loader from NMC Cat for $3,500.
A request from Eric Froeschl for favorable comment for a special designated liquor license for a Cobblestone Street Dance on August 23rd will be acted on. The Council is also expected to take action on two requests to block streets. One request is to block of Weaver Street between 11th and 12th Streets from 3:30 p-m to 12 a-m for a block party. The second is a request to block Stone Street between 14th & 15th Streets on July 13th from 9 – 11:30 a-m, and from 5 – 11 p-m for a Tanner Merz Memorial Cruise.
