( KAIR )--An Atchison man has pleaded guilty to a felony drug charge stemming from a traffic stop.
21-year-old Cody Beene entered the plea Wednesday in Atchison County District Court to one count of possession of a controlled substance, LSD.
Sentencing is scheduled for August 30th.
In exchange for the plea, two other drug-related counts against him were dropped.
Beene was arrested in May on the drug charges after he was pulled over at 4th Street and US 59 Highway in Atchison for illegally driving through a private parking lot to avoid traffic control.
