(KLZA) The Atchison County, Missouri Fair is this week and takes place in Rock Port.
Today is 4-H Achievement Day at the Velma Houts Fair Building from 4 – 7 p-m.
Set up for Home Arts and Horticulture exhibits will begin at 4 p-m Tuesday.
Wednesday will be the judging of the Home Arts and Horticulture, Ag Mechanics/Field Crops exhibits.
Thursday events include the Pee-wee sheep show; breeding sheep show; market sheep show in the morning and the Pee-wee swine show; breeding swine show and market swine show in the evening.
Friday morning is the Pee-wee beef show; bucket calf show, breeding beef show; the rabbit show and poultry show will be in the afternoon and the auction will be at 6 p-m.
Saturday is Family Fun Day a the Atchison County Fair in Rock Port. Events include mutton bustin, greased pig, Mime and a pedal tractor pull from 1 – 5 p-m with the pie contest judging scheduled for 1:15 p-m.
The Velma Houts Fair Building will be open each day of the fair for viewing of exhibits.
