(KAIR)--A single vehicle Atchison County crash Saturday night sends three to the hospital.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, it happened on Bourbon Road, 3 miles south of Muscotah around 8:30.
An SUV, driven by 44-year-old Muscotah resident Michael Ptomey was southbound when a deer ran into the roadway. Ptomey swerved to miss the animal, but the vehicle clipped the deer, went out of control, went off the west side of the roadway and struck an embankment, causing the vehicle to roll over.
Ptomey and two passengers, 14-year-old Cody Ptomey and 15-year-old Garret Fritz, were taken to the Horton Community Hospital for treatment of injuries.
The Patrol says all three were buckled up when the wreck happened.
