(KAIR)--A special training session, open and free to anyone wishing to extend a helping hand in times of crisis, will be offered in Saint Joseph, Missouri this week.
That’s where the Midland Empire Chapter of the American Red Cross, which oversees much of the local area, is headquartered.
Emergency Services Director Karla Long says Thursday’s training session will prepare a person to respond to the site of an emergency both locally or nationally.
The course runs Thursday from 9:00 in the morning until 4:00 that afternoon at the Red Cross Office at 401 North 12 Street in St. Joseph.
Those planning to attend, or for those wanting more information, should call the Red Cross at 816-232-8439.
