Green Cover Seed will be hosting a Soil Health/Cover Crop School and Field Day on Aug 27th with in-depth tours, demonstrations and speakers as well as Audrey and Christi’s home-cooking! Featured speakers will be Rick Bieber from South Dakota, Ray Ward of Ward Labs, and Nathan Haile from Texas. We will be registering at the field site 1 mile east of Bladen, NE at 8:30 a.m. and will spend the morning there looking at cover crop plots and mixes as well as having a soil pit. We will also be looking at late season planted double crop corn planted with companion crops. We will spend the afternoon at the Green Cover Seed facility 1 mile south and 1.5 miles east of Bladen listening to speakers and presentations. We should conclude at 4:00 or so.
The registration cost is $20 for pre-registration and $40 at the door. We are taking pre-registrations on-line now at our website: http://www.greencoverseed.com/smartregister/smartregister.htm
If you want to pickup seed the day of the field day, please let us know ASAP so we can have your order ready.
