(KNZA)--The Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation has been awarded a nearly quarter-million dollar grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to assist in the development of affordable housing opportunities.

The announcement of the $249,430 grant comes from HUD’s regional office in Kansas City, Kansas.
