(KAIR)--A second suspect is charged in connection with the death of a Saint Joseph woman whose body was found in a box in rural Platte County.
KQ2-TV is reporting that 31-year-old Juan Naranjo has been charged with hindering the prosecution of a felony and possession of a controlled substance.
Court documents state that Naranjo was present when Tanjela Fisher died after an injection of drugs on September 5th at a Saint Joseph residence.
It's alleged he didn't contact authorities because he's in the country illegally.
According to authorities, Naranjo assisted Martin Williams dispose of Fisher's body.
Williams is charged with first-degree involuntary manslaughter and abandonment of a corpse.
Naranjo is set for arraingment on September 24th.
Investigators say he was in possession of meth when arrested Thursday.
