(KNZA)-- Jackson County authorities are investigating the unattended death this week of a juvenile in the Delia area.
In a news release Friday, Sheriff Tim Morse said deputies and emergency personnel responded shortly after 6:30 Wednesday morning to 11680 E Road after receiving a report of an unresponsive person under the age of 16.
Upon arrival, Morse says the juvenile, whose name hasn’t been released, was determined to be dead.
Morse says the death remains under investigation by the Sheriff’s office and the county coroner, but foul play isn’t suspected.
