(KAIR)--An investigation by the Atchison police department has lead to the arrest of a local woman on drug charges.
Police Chief Mike Wilson says the investigation started after officials investigated a suspicious vehicle located in the 300 block of South 10th Street just after midnight on September 3rd. Upon examination of the vehicle, officers found drug paraphernalia that appeared to contain morphine.
Warrants were issued for 37-year-old Holli Sledd, and she was arrested Thursday evening and transported to the Atchison County Jail. Sledd faces charges of possession of morphine and drug paraphernalia. Bond has been set at $10,000.
