Volunteers Needed To Plant Bioretention Cell
10/24/2013
We need Volunteers to help plant the bioretention cell located at 3rd & Nebraska Streets in Holton on Monday, October 28, 9:00 am.

The site is finally drying out and the city is installing the water control structure tomorrow (Friday).   So the plan is to get the planting done on Monday ahead of the rain that is forecast for the rest of the week.

We need as many people to help as possible.  Even if it's only for a few hours, any help is greatly appreciated.

Bring work gloves; hand trowels, shovels and rakes would be helpful too.

Sorry for the short notice, but the season is getting short and we're trying to stay ahead of weather that is moving in.

If you plan on helping, let me know so we can have enough equipment on hand. Thanks so much!
