NEK-CAP Awarded Federal Grant

(KNZA)--NEK-Cap Inc. is among ten non-profits and public housing authorities statewide that will share $1.2 million in Tenant-based Rental Assistance to help families obtain safe, affordable housing of their choice.
According to a news release from the Kansas Housing Resources Corporation, NEK-CAP will receive a $75,000 grant to help income-eligible households with security and utility deposits.
NEK-CAP serves seven northeast Kansas counties—including Atchison, Brown, Doniphan, Jackson, Marshall and Nemaha.
The grant funding comes through the federal HOME Investment Partnerships Program, which is administered by the Kansas Housing Resources Corporation.
