The Peru State College Club Council is joining with Southeast Nebraska Community Action to host a fundraiser Saturday at 5:30 p-m for the Nemaha county Gives Back program for 2013.
A formal dinner will be served and there will be musical entertainment from local groups and a live auction of items donated by area businesses. The auction which is open to the public, begins at 7 p-m.
The event will be held in the Peru State Student Center. Funds raised will be used to benefit those less fortunate during the holiday season. All proceeds from the dinner and auction, as well as other donations, will be distributed to qualifying individuals and families in the form of gift cards to assist with holiday meal and gift expenses.
