(KNZA)--The Brown County Commission has hired a new employee for the District 2 road crew.
Following an executive session Monday, the commission voted to offer the position to Josh Linck.
In other business, the commission made another decision regarding county employee health insurance for 2014.
Beside paying for 100 percent of an employee’s health insurance, the commission voted for the county to pay $150 a month toward the additional tiers. The county has been paying $100.
The commission also voted to authorize County Clerk Debbie Parker to sign the contract with Blue Cross and Blue Shield once it arrives
