(KAIR)--President John F. Kennedy was assassinated at 12:30 p.m. on November 22, 1963. To mark the 50th anniversary of this watershed event, the Benedictine College community will pause to commemorate the life and the death of JFK. The College Democrats at Benedictine College have organized a program that will include a viewing of Kennedy's fabled inaugural address and will be followed by a brief prayer service for the causes for which he lived and for which he died. The event is set for Noon on Friday, November 22, 2013, in the McAllister Board Room on the 4th floor of the Ferrell Academic Center. The program should conclude at 12:30 p.m. It is free and open to the public.
