Minor Injuries in Northwest Missouri Accidents
12/09/2013

(KTNC) - Treacherous road conditions led several traffic accidents on northwest Missouri roads this past weekend, though no serious injuries were reported.
A Tarkio teen suffered minor injuries when she lost control of her 1997 Toyota Camry on an ice-covered road early Monday morning.  The Missouri State Patrol says 18-year-old Megan Colver was driving south on Route O, just north of Highway 136 at 12:05 a.m., when her car skidded off the road.
Colver refused medical treatment at the scene.
Another accident on Interstate 29 north of St. Joseph Sunday afternoon resulted in minor injuries to a Nebraska woman.  Brenda Hamre of Kennard, Nebraska, was a passenger in a Ford Expedition that slid off I-29 at the intersection with Highway 71.  She was taken to the Heartland Regional Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
The driver, 44-year-old Thomas Hamre of Kennard, was not injured.
