(KNZA)--Full details are not yet released as the investigation continues into a three vehicle Thursday evening Jackson County crash.
Motorists traveling on U.S. Highway 75 near the scene of the wreck, which occurred near the Jackson Heights school, found themselves in a long term delay as rescue crews worked the scene.
Jackson County Sheriff Tim Morse says a southbound van struck another vehicle which then struck the next vehicle.
It apparently happened as a turn was being made at 262nd, which leads to Jackson Heights.
However, Morse says full details of what happened, including the names of those involved, aren't immediately made public as the investigation proceeds.
