(KLZA) -- Humboldt-Table Rock – Steinauer students won the Class C2 District Speech Contest recently. The Titan team scored 191 points. Freeman was second with 181, Pawnee City third with 178.
In other area district competitions Auburn placed fourth in class B and Falls City was 8th. In Class D1 Lourdes Central Catholic placed first with 190 points, Johsnon-Brock was second with 178 Sterling was sixth and Lewiston seventh.
In Class D2 Bruning-Davenport was the team champion, Falls City Sacred Heart was fourth.
The State Speech competition will be held at the University of Nebraska at Kearney Campus on Thursday for classes A, B and C-1 and Friday, March 28th for students in classes C-2, D-1 and D-2.

Duet Acting – Savannah Nider and Julia Schultheiss; and the team of Karli Cabrera and Hannah Davis.
