(KNZA)--Jackson County Commissioner Ed Katherns has filed for re-election to a second four-year term.
The rural Circleville Democrat represents district one.
Republicans Rob Ladner of Holton and Bob McNicholas of Netawaka have also filed for the position.
The district one commission position is the only Jackson County office up for election this fall. Candidates have until noon, June 2nd to file.
The primary election will be held August 5th and the general election is November 4th.
