(KMZA)--A funeral service is set Friday in Blue Rapids for Marshall County Sheriff’s deputy Brian Kenworthy.
Kenworthy, of Blue Rapids, died last Thursday at the K.U. Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas at the age of 46.
Kenworthy began his law enforcement career in 1993 as a reserve officer with the Marysville Police Department, then was an officer for Blue Rapids before joining the Marshall County Sheriff‘s Department.
Kenworthy is survived by his wife, Lisa, and three sons.
Services will be Friday morning at 10:30 at the Blue Rapids gymnasium.
