(KLZA)-- The Nemaha County Hospital in Auburn has successfully completed a four-year accreditation survey process and received the prestigious ISO Quality Management System certification.
The hospital is the first in the state to receive the high level certification and just the second Critical Access Hospital in the nation to receive the certification.
The ISO certification is the most widely-accepted quality management system in use around the world and is gaining acceptance among US Healthcare providers as a foundation for quality and patient safety programs.
Chief Operating Officer Kermit Moore expressed how proud he was of the staff at Nemaha County Hospital and their tremendous dedication to be the first hospital in Nebraska to achieve the certification.
